Frequently Asked Questions

We've answered many of the most common questions that are posed to our staff — from colours and sizing through to orders, delivery and installation.

ColourFence comes in six factory‑finished colours — Green, Brown, Cream, Blue, Grey and Black — and every component is designed to mix and match, so you can pair posts, panels and toppers however suits your garden.

Choose from plain privacy panels, five trellis designs (Mirage, Palm, Slatted, Square and Roman), and ball‑top, flat‑top or basket hanger finishes. There are also four contemporary styles — Black Classic, Flat Cap, Ball Cap and Bespoke — if you want a more modern look.

Panels are 2.35m wide as standard, with off‑the‑shelf heights of 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m and 2.0m. Need something taller or a bespoke width? Just ask — bespoke panels above 2m are available on request.

Every panel is formed from premium coated steel with a self‑healing zinc coating layer. It's fireproof, won't rot or warp like timber, and is 100% recyclable at the end of its life.

ColourFence carries a minimum 25‑year material guarantee, and posts, rails and post caps are included in the price rather than sold as extras. See our full warranty terms for what's covered.

ColourRail is available in seven powder‑coated colours, plus an uncoated galvanised finish. If you need to match an existing scheme, we can also match up to 300 additional RAL colours, subject to a minimum order quantity.

There are six finial styles to choose from — Flat Top, Fleur‑de‑lys, Ball Top, Bow Top, Loop & Fleur‑de‑lys and Loop & Ball — and decorative rings can be added for a more traditional estate look.

Our standard ColourRail panel is 2.4m wide, and Estate Rail panels come 2m wide in 0.9m or 1.2m heights. If those don't quite fit your boundary, bespoke sizes are available on request.

Because every boundary is a different length and finish, we don't publish fixed prices — request a free survey or quote and we'll price it for your exact garden. Landscapers and contractors can also apply for trade and bulk pricing.

ColourRail is built from galvanised steel and finished with an Akzo Nobel architectural‑grade polyester powder coat, then manufactured in our Newport, South Wales facility before it reaches your garden.

Gates are available in the same seven standard powder‑coated colours as ColourRail, with up to 300 additional RAL colours available to match on request (minimum order quantity applies).

Single‑leaf gates range from 880mm to 1660mm wide, and double‑leaf from 1760mm to 3320mm wide, both in heights from 900mm to 2100mm. Bespoke gates are available up to 2100mm high and 3320mm wide.

ColourFence Gates are built to match our fence panels with a minimum 25‑year guarantee. ColourRail Gates come in the seven standard colours or any RAL match. Deluxe Gates offer five off‑the‑shelf colours with their own minimum 25‑year guarantee. All three are made in our Newport, South Wales facility.
