The Cover, In Brief
Two separate guarantees work together to protect your purchase — one for the materials, one for the fitting.
Covers defects in material and manufacture on every Fencing, Railing, Gate and Shed product, from the date of purchase.
Every easifence Approved Installer guarantees their own fitting workmanship for a full year after installation.
The material guarantee is non‑transferable, covering repair or replacement of defective items — not labour or removal costs.
01 — Fitting
easifence Ltd does not itself provide any warranty over the fitting or installation of fencing, gates, railings or sheds. That cover comes solely from the company or individual who carried out the installation — every easifence Approved Installer guarantees their own fitting work for 1 year from the installation date shown on your invoice.
To qualify for this installation warranty, every component of the fence, gate, rail or shed must have been fitted by that same Approved Installer — mixing in parts fitted by someone else, or by you, will affect your cover.
The materials themselves are covered separately, for much longer, under the guarantees below.
02 — Gates
The materials used to manufacture easifence gates are warranted against defects in material or workmanship present at the time of production. Once your gate has been installed, easifence does not warrant against any damage or failure caused by maltreatment, accidents, neglect, unauthorised alterations, storms, wind or other environmental causes after that point.
This gate‑specific cover sits alongside — not instead of — the minimum 25‑year material guarantee below, which applies to the wider easifence range.
03 — Materials
Every easifence Fencing, Railing, Gate and Shed product is guaranteed against defects in material and manufacture for a minimum of 25 years from the date of purchase. To make a claim, you'll need to provide your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase and its date.
Where a genuine defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the defective item — this guarantee does not cover labour or any other cost relating to installation. We reserve the right to inspect any product to determine the cause of a defect before a claim is settled.
Extension of benefit: this guarantee is non‑transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It does not cover defects or damage caused by misuse, improper installation or maintenance, or any modification away from our manufacturing specification.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. Its terms may be updated by easifence from time to time — the current version always applies. For material warranty claims or questions, contact our team using the details below.
Read Before You Claim
Our guarantee is generous, but it isn't unlimited. The following are excluded from both the material and installation warranties, and this warranty covers repair or replacement of defective items only — we accept no liability for any other direct or indirect losses or damages, including injury to persons, damage to property, or consequential loss or damage, however they occur.
Natural reduction of paint gloss over time
Maltreatment, neglect, or alterations made by unauthorised parties
Ground movement, structural defects in buildings, or intrusion of vegetation
Exposure to extreme weather and ground conditions beyond the product's rated tolerance
Contact with corrosive substances — harmful chemicals, pool water, run‑off from lead or copper, wet or treated timber, or insufficient cleaning
Products installed within 1km of a severe industrial, coastal or otherwise corrosive environment
Acts of God
Wind damage to panels over 2.1m in height or 2.4m in width
Wind damage to installations mounted on walls
Water ingress or condensation inside easifence Sheds
This warranty statement supersedes all other warranties or conditions relating to your purchase, whether spoken or written, express or implied.
